Mental Training.- This type of training helps you focus during your snow training and avoid distrations. If you really want to do a 360 for the first time or you are about to do a competition run, it helps to see it in your head and go through the motions in your head to get extra practice and be more comfortable.

Nutrition.- If you want to ski your best, it's important to eat properly so that you can rest better between ski days and have more energy. The links below can help you make good decisions about what you eat.

Competitions .- Competitions bring out the best in people and are a lot of fun. As you get more involved, you will want to learn hte progressions of competitions and what the next step is. The list below is the typical progression of competitions:

Judging.- Our sport is a judged sport. Eventually you will want to find out more about how you can improve your scores. Your coach is able to answer a lot of questions about what you need to improve and sometimes it is also helpful to ask a judge to review your performance so that you can get their perspective on things.

The Alberta Athlete Development Committe is made up of two Athlete Representatives from the Alberta Team, all Club Head Coaches, Provincial Coaches and the Provincial Director of Training. There are two meetings held throughout the year; Fall and Spring. In addition, the ADC is actively involved throughout the season in guiding our sport and presenting recomendations as needed.
